EGL has provided civil and geotechnical engineering services for the operation at the Waihi Mine since 1988. This has included ground investigations, design, consenting and construction monitoring of the tailings storage facilities and stockpiles, and foundations for the process plant, as well as the successful relocation of the 1,840 tonne Cornish Pumphouse in 2006.
