Trevor Matuschka has a BE (Hons) and PhD from the University of Auckland and is a Fellow of Engineering New Zealand. He has been a Director of EGL since 1989.

Trevor has 40 years’ experience as a geotechnical engineer. His main work interest is dams. He has worked on projects throughout New Zealand and in a number of overseas countries. He is currently Chair of the New Zealand Society on Large Dams (NZSOLD) and is a member of the International Commission on Large Dams (ICOLD) Technical Committee on Seismic Aspects of Dam Design.

In his spare time Trevor enjoys his lifestyle block, boating and mountain bike riding.
